Hi! 👋🏻 I’m Ellen!

Creating and sewing has been a passion of mine since I was a child. I come from a family of makers, so I always say it’s in my blood.
My Grandmother, “Grammy” to us, was a wonderful quilter. Most of her work was done by hand and the amount of love that went into each item was truly incredible. As Grammy grew older and was unable to sew the way she once did, I was humbled to be given her sewing machine and a few of her favorite tools. She always loved to hear about my projects and what I was creating. When she passed, I inherited the remainder of her sewing equipment along with boxes, and I mean BOXES of fabrics. I continue to use her tools, scissors, and fabrics daily. A bit of Grammy’s love still goes into every project I make.
Thank you, Grammy ❤️

Spruce Mountain Keepsake Creations started in 2018 as a part time hobby business on the nights and weekends. In April 2021, with the support of my family and friends, I took the leap and left my office management career and have been sewing full time since! To say I am excited to see where this journey takes me is an understatement!

Outside of my studio, I am married to the best guy around, Phil! I am a loving fur Momma to Molly, the Chocolate Lab and Miss Penny, the Mystery Mutt. Most of our weekends are spent exploring nature while camping and hiking as much as possible! I am a lover of live music, local breweries, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

It is so great to meet you! I’m glad you are here!
